Dear friends Thank you so much for an excellent meeting last Thursday. Here are the minutes of the meeting. I am very grateful to Siriol Davies and Akin Asa for agreeing to take on the roles of Deanery Champions for the Living in Faith and Love Process. They will take part in training in April or May and so I am suggesting that we begin the 5 week course in the Deanery in June.
I will be in touch shortly with incumbents to try to find the most suitable times for this! I am also sending: Canon Jay Colwill’s slides And also a notice about a conversation that Canon Jay is inviting us to join with Dr Hannah Steele, Director and Lecturer in Theology at St Mellitus College London Hannah has just published (a Sunday Times Top Ten Best Seller!) ‘Living His Story’. In Living His Story, (the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lent Book 2021), Hannah Steele uncovers liberating and practical ways of sharing the gospel story afresh. With warmth and encouragement, she shows us how we can live Jesus’ story in our own lives simply by being the people God made us and allowing people to be drawn to him through our natural gifts.j Do join us ‘in conversation’ with Hannah on Wednesday 28th April at 8pm. To receive a Zoom code, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org\ And also Mtr Ellen has very helpfully shared the resources of Covid Recovery which she mentioned. https://www.place2be.org.uk/our-services/services-for-schools/mental-health-resources-for-schools/return-to-school-resources/
With every blessing for Holy Week and Easter. Fr Jonathan
